As we go into 2011 we are very fortunate to be in the black - for now. Our budget is approximately $500+ per month. Our director Deb Nissen is terrific at finding the "deals". We are serving 45-60 families each month.
We could use additional monetary donations as well as items that we cannot always purchase from the YCAP Food Bank. Canned meat - chicken, etc., rice, pasta meals, baking mix, sugar, flour, soup, tomato sauce/paste, chili, canned fruit, fruit juice, cold cereal, condiments - for lunch sandwiches, toilet paper, diapers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and personal toiletry items are some things we could use.
